The place is beautiful and well made, right at one of the world's best beaches. It could have been a paradise... Unless a neighboring venue played super loud deep bass "music" on their loudspeakers. It sounded like hummers to my ears when I tried to find some peace and relax on the beach. It's not the hotel's fault, but the location they choose is not compatible with notions of "natural", "peace" or "retreat". It could be a good place if you'd like to party and get drunk though.
We came here for a day trip from it's sister hotel, H Hotel. The resort is very nice at first glance. However, there is no pool for this resort. The pool is located next door in their glamping resort. So guests have to go next door if they want to use the pool. There is also only 1 restaurant available to guests at the resort. There are a few other food choices if you walk along the beach to the other resorts. The resort is in a very isolated area. You need to go through the local community and huge giant potholes in the dirt road just to get here. The beach is beautiful. They have beach chairs for the guests to lounge on. However, be ready to be harassed by peddlers every 5 minutes selling you jewelry.
Their beach chairs are invaded by peddlers that just won't leave you alone. What could have been a great day turned out to be a nightmare because the peddlers will not take no for an answer, and they (the very same peddlers that you said no to 6 minutes ago) literally keep coming back at you every 7 minutes (no exaggeration). Also, the cigarette station was too close and inhaled so many cigarettes from people smoking their lungs out. So the air was not fresh. Wild dogs also fester this location. They will hound you when you eat at the beach chairs. However, at least the dogs know what "no" means, unlike the vendors that walk around and constantly hound you and will not take "no" for an answer. Their security guard simply watch vendors "harass" customers. I wish he would swoosh them away. The service was immaculate and great, though. Not recommend, unless the peddlers and the annoying smoking station are both removed.
Napcan beach is beautiful and thanks to this great quality resort we had an amazing stay on this beach. Laurel and Jerwin (but also the rest of the team) were really attentive to all details and contributed greatly to make this stay so nice. The rooms are big, modern, comfortable and very clean. The ocean view is breathtaking. The restaurant is also nice, while a bit pricy. But portion are big (especially the pizza).
Cute hotel in a pretty secluded area. There are other surrounding little restaurants but definitely limited. Free breakfast is included with your stay, and each morning had a different selection of foods. There were both filipino and western options for both their breakfast and lunch menus. Lunch and dinner menus were the same. You can walk around the beach to find other food though. 5 stars for the area because this is beach front. It is amazing both morning and at night because you can star gaze as it isn't as bright as the larger cities. We booked a private transport from the airport to here and they were even able to bring us to our next accommodation for a decent price. I would stay here again.
