Went diving with El Nido Adventure Scuba today and it went amazing. We visited 3 beautiful places near El Nido and did the introductory course diving c. 12 meters each time. Crew was amazing and Larry really took his time to run us through the basics and more advanced nuances of diving. He speaks very fluent English as well so language was very smooth for us. Speedboat is quite comfy with a shade so you do not have to worry about getting sunburnt. Food was great as well! If you want to see some carettas as well - make sure to call these guys! Right crowd :)
I went for a 3 dive part refresher, fund I've with Jonathan and Larry. The boat captain started diving here in 1983 and helped map the original dive sites round here, so their local knowledge was naturally the best round here. We had 4 divers to 2 masters and they were excellent. Visibility was around 10 m and the Coral and fish were some of the first I've seen in my 25 yrs of diving..they are a small family run business with excellent service and attention to detail..you can't go wrong with these guys for sure..happy diving..!!
Visited El Nido from Coron after some rough seas due to a super typhoon up north of Luzon so it was very cloudy yet vis is fair 5m to 8m. Despite the condition we had a great experience. We saw turtle, stingray, octopus, very big potato groupers, barracudas, big moray eel, electric clam, pipe fishes, lobster, countless nudibranches and other sea life. The dive briefing were excellent. DM Onats did a wonderful tour. Boat Capt. was great.
We had 3 amazing discover dives (beginners). Master Divers Sir Jonathan and Sir Larry were professionals. As a beginner in scuba diving (literally no idea what to do), they assisted us from the orientation, up to the last dive. They made sure that we are always okay and safe while diving. They have a nice and sturdy boat, very fast, and can withstand strong waves. Diving with them includes snacks, water, coffee (yes coffee in the boat), and delicious lunch. They have soft (new) towels too, which is very nice because our skin was sunburnt. They took nice photos and videos using their new GoPro (which can be transferred to your phone after the dive). They know the diving spot very well and will lead you to the spot where turtles and schools of yellow snappers can be found. If you’re lucky enough, you’ll see a mother and baby whale + sea cow. We will be back again in El Nido and will choose their dive center for diving courses in the future. Thank you so much Sir Jonathan and Sir Larry!
The whole team and setup was fantastic - would 100% recommend. I did an SSI open water beginner course with Kaka who was a fantastic teacher - kind, patient, calm and a great guy! The rest of the crew were lovely too, all of them have been in El Nido for a while so have great stories. My partner joined for a fun dive and was really impressed too. Thanks so much everyone!
