Our stay at Buko was very relaxing thanks to the staff who was very attentive and the chef who whipped up fantastic meals. Cool location, stunning sunset views and we spotted lots of cool wildlife.
Thoroughly enjoyed staying here. Stay were attentive, rooms were clean and spacious, and the pancakes for breaky were amazing! I guess the downside is the noise but as we know El Nido is an up and coming spot, i can't complain about the noise of development around - good for them! It starts in the morning so just get up and go explore! We were up early every morning in El Nido anyway so it didn't bother us. Only comment I'd make is that it would be nice to have beds in the sun on the beach though. They assisted with scooter rental, private boat tour and laundry - all really helpful!
Best hotel, staff & sunsets in El Nido! We cannot thank Buko beach resort enough for our stay. It was our honeymoon & the thoughtful card, decorations on the bed & other sweet gestures you made meant so much to us. The staff are simply wonderful, I apologise that we can't remember all your names but Esmeralda on the front desk was so helpful and couldn't have done more for us. Jake was always a pleasure to see and chat to at meal times, and again couldn't have been more helpful if he tried! The staff really make Buko the memorable success that it is. As for the facilities, again perfect! Everything is so clean and well looked after, lovely pool, good food and stunning sunsets can be enjoyed from the pool or bar/restaurant - see the picture attached, NO filter!! The air conditioning in our room worked perfectly at all times and we didn't get bitten once which is a huge statement as we are both prone to mosquito bites. If you use the plug ins and cream provided, you won't get a single bite! It's also worth mentioning safety, there is security 24/7 patrolling the grounds (and lovely men they were too!) which was comforting, even though we saw no trouble the entire time we travelled through the Philippines! Great location too, cheap and quick to get into town and to Vanilla beach. Thank you so very much Buko, I will sing your praises and encourage everyone I meet headed to El Nido to visit Buko beach Resort! xx
Wish I could give this place more stars. We didn’t have one peaceful night we were there. Stayed for 4 nights in the sea view cottage. Not worth the upgrade. You can’t actually see the view of the ocean unless the doors are open. Every night at 4 am roosters start to crow and dogs fight. You can hear absolutely everything around you in the rooms. Including people talking. You cannot swim in the ocean, the seats at the pool are very limited and covered in shade. Not great for sun bathing. The resort is right next to construction so expect to hear hammers and saws from 8 am to 20:00. Staff are attentive, food is excellent, location is close and convenient to many restaurants and town.
Cute boutique hotel. Only problem the constructions in the area. Other than that, it is recommended
