Great view of the beach. Good food and breakfast. Relaxing and beautiful facility. Our 1st Anniversary won’t be as romantic and memorable without this resort. 2 thumbs up!
Actually just passing that area as I goto Nakpan Beach White Sands.
Scenic, tranquil, and accommodating are the best words I can use to describe my stay here. I highly recommend Cadlao Resort and will definitely return!
Amazing views. Sound of the ocean is intoxicating. Staff is amazing. Rooms are great.
Really difficult to give more than two stars given our experience was marred by two bouts of water/food poisoning on separate occasions. We mostly ate and drank at the hotel, food was ok at best, the cadlao burger could have been better and the breakfasts were not from a buffet but in general was ok but did not taste too fresh. Overall food was overpriced - 90 pesos for a Coke, 150% more than just outside the resort. Guest services were ok, though we asked several times if there was possibility of late check out and were told we would be advised. No final word was given so we assumed it was not possible. General demeanor of staff was ok at best. We asked for distilled water a couple of times but got returned blank faces to the end of the staff not knowing what it was. Rooms were small but as expected. The water from the shower smelled of a horrendous metallic smell and was so very off-putting to the the point where I'd question whether o wanted to have a shower! As for the quality of that water the jury is out, but if smell is anything to go by, its not something you'd want to wash with. Tours were good, and rental services good also (but these were 3rd party opposite the hotel and doesn't really weigh into the review) Overall value for money was poor and the vibe was a bit off, location definitely puts the stock up on this place. would recommend paying a bit more for one of exclusive El Nido resorts rather than become a run of the mill guest at cadlao. Just an air of caution much of El Nido bay is off limits due to pollution and coliform concentrations and several establishments closed due to environmental violations, I'd say try where possible to avoid El Nido town to stay in and pass through for food and activities.
