What a beautiful place! A pristine beach bordered by jungle and palm trees. With only one resort and few facilities, you almost feel like you're on a deserted island! We love the simplicity of the resort and the opportunity to relax and unwind without the distraction of technology, etc. The water temperature was perfect! A daily swim across the bay just before sunset provided the opportunity for spectacular 360 views of every-changing pink-orange-red cloud formations. On a clear night, start gazing was magical. With fireflies in the coconut trees, grabbing a beer and a chair and gathering with other guests around the small campfire was a great way to catch up and hear stories from around the world. Depending on the time of the year and the weather, surfing, stand up paddle boarding, body surfing, snorkelling are options. We enjoyed snorkelling around the rocks, seeing the sunken barge and, a little further along, the interesting coral formations. The staff are fantastic; friendly, hard-working and accommodating of individual needs. We've returned twice already and hope to make this an annual holiday. ☺️ (The last section of the unsurfaced road adds some adventure to the journey to Duli, but that's part of its unique charm.)
It's a bit far from everything, but I think it's what adds to the charm. The rooms are simple but lovely. The staff are really helpful and the food in the restaurant is delicious. The beach is paradise. It's never crowded and amazing for swimming and surfing, if you come at the right time of the year.
Beautiful remote location on a quiet beach but with some major issues. We rented a motorbike from El Nido proper and the drive was relatively easy except for the last bit on a bumpy muddy road. Electricity available for about 3 hours a day via generator and weak wifi (smart data worked fine). No hot water. Unfortunately despite the beautiful environment the staff weren't welcoming or friendly and abruptly left mid-dinner without even checking if the guests needed anything else. Then there was a man who said he didn't have the phone number of any of the staff (an obvious lie) that sits out front overnight but for what purpose we couldn't tell. The owners are a family from the Netherlands who often fight and yell at their young children - something that I found incredibly disturbing and not at all conducive to relaxing. Also beware clouds of mosquitoes and biting sand flies which basically prevent you from hanging out on the beach itself. Finally the food options are limited and overpriced but adequate - you will be charged for even water in a pitcher so review your bill at the end of your stay. It rained during our stay which wouldn't be a problem except that our roof leaked in several places included right on top of the bed. Overall it was an okay stay because it's a beautiful place but that's basically where the positives end.
Did not have the chance to stay at this resort, but did stop by for some beer and food. Fantastic location, with a limited but yummy menu. Owners super nice too
Me and my partner have been here Feb 6-8 for a vacation. The place is very peaceful and relaxing. Perfect place for surfing too!! We also love the food that they serve. Even had the chance to witness the releasing of baby sea turtles. Highly recommended and we will surely go back here. 🌊🏄🤙🏻💙
