We were stuck in El Nido during typhoon season. No tours, no ferries, the next flight wasn’t for 5 days. Staying here for was amazing! Even through the storms, they provided 5 star service. The power never went out, the wifi stayed strong so at least we could work. The people that work here are very attentive. Hot water, everything you need.
Came here for a party. Was very lively and seemed like good fun and good crowd. I love to party however the music was being played so loud it was distorting and was at levels that definitely would mean people’s ears would be ringing next day. As someone who’s been involved in events for over 25 years I would recommend they think about people’s health more. I have tinnitus from all the years in loud clubs so unfortunately I couldn’t stay here long enough to really get involved. Leaving this review in the hope that the organisers and managers think about this in future, don’t let this put you off staying here, it seemed like a cool fun place!
We had a lovely stay at Happiness resort. View from outside of our room was amazing. We did the 7am morning Yoga with Juliana and this was very fun and relaxing start to our day, we then had an ice bath which was a great experience. The massages on site was great (between 700-1000pesos for 60 minutes, so extremely good value!). Room was clean and comfortable. Great location with tricycle transport always outside the hotel, allowing us to get to vanilla beach and corong beach in under 5 minutes (for 100 pesos). We stayed for 2 nights. Would definitely recommend staying here.
We have had lunch here. The staff and waiters are extremely friendly and helpful. The dishes we ordered came within 10 minutes, freshly made and tasty. Later on my gf decided to request a massage. The waiting time was a bit longer than expected, but totally worth it.
I wouldn't recommend staying at Happiness Boutique Resort. Our stay was quite disappointing. We booked the room with 2 double beds. The room looked fine however the bathroom didn't offer much privacy. There was no door or even shower curtain in the bathroom even though the room is not for couples. I understand Bali Style but this is quite weird. Also, the shower head was leaking everywhere, the lobby said they would send someone, no one came. We booked a massage in the morning and the masseuse didn't show up, we were on a schedule so the staff couldn't do much about it either. We also tried getting a refill of water in the morning, but there was none (not yet delivered). The facility looks good with the 2 pools (no seaview) and the different resting spot however one major point is that the wifi is terrible there and network isn't working. The staff gave us 3 wifi hotspots, none of them were enough to even load emails. We tried eating at the restaurant and the experience was just terrible, you can check my detailed review for that. The only pro was the welcome. The front desk staff was amazing as well as one of the staff who help my friend with his bandage. Other than that, I would say you can find way better places around and thankfully we did.
