Great food, service and atmosphere cuz it is right on the water and has a pool that you have to pay to use if you're not a guest, but worth it.
We did not stay in the hotel, which is why I didn't rate it.
Faces west to see the sunset. The sea water has rocks so one should walk a bit from the place to swim in the sea, but the tables and lounge chairs are in the shade provided by trees until the sun is at about 2 pm in the sky.

The food at this place is amazing. We didn't stay in their accommodation but we went to their restaurant for 3 nights out of our 10nights in El Nido.
The food is delicious, home cooked, and definitely not commercialised. Taste is incomparable to the other restaurants in El Nido.
And believe me, the food Portions are generous, too.
The only thing that has stopped us from going back to this place is the thought that we will get fat from eating their good food.
The resort has nice sunset views as well.
My husband and I can't stop talking about their food. We also recommended this place to the people we met at El Nido

This is the second time we have stayed at the Sunset Las Cabanas Villa. And the breakfasts which were included in the price were at Las Cabanas Hotel. I can compare and notice significant improvements in Las Cabanas Hotel. The main thing is the breakfasts.. It used to be a menu, now it's a buffet, with meat, pancakes, omelet, fruit and more. Everything is plentiful and fresh. I enjoyed the pineapple and mango every morning.
The internet is good in the restaurant and on the beach. There are new sunbeds and swings... In the evenings - live music (often Filipino music- hmm a matter of taste))). The territory is well maintained and clean. Excellent massage right on the beach for 10 EUR.
Do not expect here the lack of insects, homeless dogs or good water pressure. But here is an incredible deserted beach in the morning completely at your service. Only by noon do the tourists show up. The hotel is getting better in my opinion.

Stayed here for 4 nights at their somewhat villa room. The water pressure in the bathroom was weak but the room was very clean. There was no wi-fi during our stay and they said they were switching network or something. There's almost no cell signal around these parts and wi-fi was very important. The resort is about 1/4 of a mile from the street and thus you will need to walk 10 mins to get there. The only reason I would comeback is the customer service. The workers treated us like family.

Location is amazing but our room is not.
You have to walk quite long from McDonald's El Nido to Las Cabañas. We paid ₱17,000 for 2 nights stay at their Budget Twin Room with Private Bathroom. It's not a great place to stay. The apartment seems like a remodeled old house. It's finishing is mediocre. Electrical outlets are not placed in the best spots. Lights are not very bright/inadequate for the space. The bathroom is also mediocre. The sink is too small. There are no fixtures for hanging towels or clothes. The water pressure is good but not very strong. There is no bidet. Wifi inside the villa was also very slow during our stay. Only Smart network sims have a signal in the area. Faster wifi is available around the reception area.
Pool is nice and slightly warm. The sand is really fine. The beach is rocky on some parts. The view is one of a kind. Menu prices start from P300 except for beverages. We liked the tomato pasta. Their food is decent. Staff's service is good but they're unresponsive after 9PM. The sunset was great but we won't come back here to stay.
