The Miniloc resort has very high reviews for a reason. They put a lot of effort into making the resort a place you do not want to leave! The food was very tasty and changed for every meal. The staff went to extra effort to make the place clean and free of litter. We did a variety of activities every day. The staff for all of the activities were very attentive to help you enjoy the experience. On top of all the work the staff do to make it an enjoyable experience, there is a reef just past the rock barrier that offers some of the best snorkeling I've ever had. And it is just at the foot of the steps of the pier!!
Positive points: - unique location near Big Lagoon, with the possibility to kayak there, absolutely empty and without tourists; - several complimentary tours included in the room rate, on comfortable boats, with towels and bottled water available; - very comfortable rooms; - buffet-style restaurant, with plenty of variety and delicious food; - extremely friendly and helpful staff; - the staff is very attentive to the children, making sure to include them in all activities. Negative points: - small pool for the size of the hotel: there are fewer than 8 umbrellas for a hotel with over 50 rooms; - the space feels cramped for so many guests, with a constant feeling of overcrowding; - lack of food at the buffet, with slow replenishment (during the 11 meals we had, something was always missing and it took a long time to replenish); - very difficult communication before the stay, with disorganized arrival transfer (we had to pay for our own transportation to get to the pier because the hotel didn't respond to our emails/messages or answer our calls).
We were so lucky to have found a paradise in Palawan, named Miniloc. The journey from Manila, all the way to Miniloc was seamless. There is a special check-in counters at the airports (when you’re guests of the El Nido Resorts). When we reached Lio Airport, we began to feel the warm welcome from the resort staffs. Location wise, Miniloc is an island paradise filled with unspoiled nature. The hospitality shown by the staff was very good. Our room was cleaned thoroughly and everything was working well. For the resort activities, we are so thankful and grateful for Andy, Mario and the excursion team who worked tirelessly to ensure the guests safety and enjoyment. They are the key personnels that made the entire experience so worthwhile! Thank you, Miniloc Team and especially to Andy!

The culinary team at El Nido Resorts Miniloc Island truly excels in crafting delectable dishes that cater to a variety of tastes, ensuring that every meal is a delightful experience. The resort's central location is another standout feature, offering easy access to the two breathtaking lagoons that surround the island. This proximity allows guests to immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the area effortlessly, making every moment a memorable one. One of the most remarkable aspects of El Nido Resorts Miniloc Island is its peaceful and uncrowded ambiance. This serene setting creates the perfect environment for relaxation and rejuvenation, allowing guests to unwind and connect with nature in a truly meaningful way. The staff at the resort are exceptionally warm, welcoming, and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure that every guest's needs are met. Their genuine hospitality adds a personal touch to the overall experience, making guests feel right at home from the moment they arrive. While my experience at El Nido Resorts Miniloc Island has been overwhelmingly positive, I do have a couple of minor suggestions for improvement. I would love to see stronger water pressure in the rooms to enhance the shower experience further. Additionally, it would be fantastic if the prices of alcohol at the resort were more budget-friendly, allowing guests to indulge without breaking the bank. In conclusion, El Nido Resorts Miniloc Island is a true gem that continues to exceed expectations with its exceptional service, stunning location, and unparalleled hospitality. My five visits have left me enchanted and eager to return, and I highly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a peaceful and rejuvenating escape in paradise.
This was by far the worst place we stayed at during our holiday to the Philippines. The location is nice enough, very isolated but the rooms are quite small, and a little tired and the service very impersonal. The impression was that the staff aren’t particularly happy here. The food was absolutely awful. Mass made overcooked horrible buffet food. There were a lot of mystery items added to our drinks bills at the end - items we had never ordered and only discovered after check out. I would definitely never stay here again. It was also the most expensive place we stayed. Incredibly over priced!
