Morning Walsh Resort is not the top of the line resort by any stretch of the imagination. It seemed to be a family run business, which is what made it special and receive 3 stars. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. A decent breakfast was included in the stay, which consisted of an omelette, fruit, bread, and bacon. However the facilities and accommodations are mediocre. The sheets were stained, which very well could have been stains but a guest can’t be too sure and there was no hot water. I would not recommend this resort to anyone looking for a luxurious hotel, but if you are looking for budget friendly and do not need a fancy stay then it is fine.

I had a very poor experience with this place. The price for a room is not cheap, and that's why I had some expectation that the place would be nice and well run. But I was wrong.
Running water in the hotel is the colour of pee (yellow) and it smells like sewer, even when coming from the bathroom sink or shower (brushing teeth was quite an experience).
The staff tries to be welcoming and smiling, but they are really poorly organized. Breakfast is included, and it's one dish of whatever they prepare for the day - you have no options nor choices. All in all, a pretty awful hotel in an otherwise stellar location.

This is great resort. The operators are wonderful and very friendly. We had a great time staying here.
Things you need to know:
- El Nido is going through a big growth period, do there is lots if construction and traffic.
- This property is on a restaurant row, so there is loud music until 1 am. Bring ear plugs.
- most of the restaurants don't open until 2pm
- bring cash. 99% of everywhere doesn't accept cards
- you can request the next morning's breakfast

Never saw such friendly and warm hearted owners. Lodging here ist just like paradise. Thanks a lot for such a wonderful week, we felt like a part of family and enjoyed the perfect location directly at the beach. Nice comfortable rooms with Aircon, big bathroom and wonderful, comfortable bed. Would recommend to everybody to get here, of you like lovely Filipino people talking care about all your wishes...
