It is a small family run hotel with an old school gym that is free to use for their customers. All guests have a complimentary breakfast option that is basic but delicious. All staff here are really friendly, attentive and approachable. Sarah and the rest of the team really made an effort to provide an excellent service! Recommended
The place is horrible especially because of the owner! He is so rude, unwelcome, unfriendly at all. When we have been asking something he said: “it’s not a 5 stars hotel! If you don’t like something book another!” And the end he is racist he said: “ why you European come there and complain! When are not your servant” Especially room 101 without any lights, it’s too noise because a kitchen is close and staff talking like they are in the forest! I think this room was a store before. Even at 5:00pm room was not ready, and when we arrived we v seen last preparation on the pic! Breakfast is extremely poor, not tasty! For that price you will find place with friendly staff and good condition and breakfast! Hardly I do not recommended this place!
This place is right on the main strip, but the garden sets it back fromthe noise. They do have WiFi and hot water, both are slightly hit or miss, but great overall. They ask you each day what and when you want breakfast, tapsilog here is the best thing! If you have a tour or need to be out by a certain time use the litte green doorbell by the reception desk to call them. 7 or 7:30 may be the same time for service without calling for them as we found out on a day we were in a rush but didn't know about the bell. Sprint network doesn't work on site, but if you go to the pizza place a block down it's steady. A/C in our room was back in a corner blocked by wall to the bathroom, so we had to stop the fan from oscillating to move the cold air through the space and keep the bathroom door always closed. It takes about 30 min to cool down the room from 80F. The room is well kept and beautiful compared to many we looked at. The pillows are huge, so I've been using my clothes as a makeshift pillow. The beds are pretty firm, but that's pretty standard from our experieces in Palawan. The only difficult thing for me about this place was the smell of the cleaner they use in the bathroom. It smells like a US truck stop bathroom, and it took three days before I didn't gag entering the room. There were two sets of outlets in the room that worked with most of our US devices as is. They ask, like many places in town, for shoes to be kept at the front, and they have a foot bath by the little shop up front if you are sandy. Towels were large and fluffy, and bug spray helps a lot when going down for breakfast. There is an atm in the middle of town at te municipal building, and it can be hardto break a 1,000P bill, so try to use bigger bills for dinner and hold onto small bills as much as possible. We loved it so much we extended our stay four days. The staff is really sweet and helpful, and we were so happy with the location. We spent hours researching places, and we definitely found the best place for us.
We stayed there for 2 nights. The place is nice and clean, but the unprofessional staff destroys everything. The toilet in our room didn't work, but they didn't do anything to fix the situation at all! Let me mention we had explained the problem to different staff, but still nothing happened.
Great place to stay for a local who wants to feel at home away from home in the big city. Room is big smaller side, but all clean and enough for someone who wants a relaxing stay in El Nido. But do your research, the ladies over there gaves us mixed information with regards the tricycle fares when going to the beautiful beaches nearby. But over all they are nice people and had a great stay
