Since it was our first time diving, we opted for a diving experience (discovery diving). I was very scared initially, but our instructor Win explained everything thoroughly. He started at a lower water level to make sure we had all the basics down and taught us hand signals since we can't talk under water. Then, we did two dives, I think one of them was 12 m deep? And we got to see the turtle! And the instructor recorded photos and videos underwater with his GoPro, which we could purchase later. He took very nice shots so it was definitely worth purchasing them for the bragging rights and lasting memories. I did throw up on the boat twice while it was parked in the midst of the ocean so I couldn't eat, but the waters were rough that day. So take a medication for sea sickness with you if you are prone to motion sickness!! Overall, the water was beautiful and we got to experience scuba diving for the first time with a caring team.
My wife and I had the most fantastic experience at the Submariner Diving Center in El Nido, Philippines. We recently wrapped up four certification dives and two fun dives, and we truly can't say enough positive things about this dive center. The entire staff, crew, and instructors were simply outstanding. A special shoutout to our incredible dive instructor, Abel - he was not only highly skilled but also incredibly patient. Our time exploring the underwater world with this team was beyond amazing, providing us with a safe and truly unforgettable adventure. If you're planning to dive in El Nido, we wholeheartedly recommend the Submariner Diving Center. It's definitely a five-star experience all the way!
My stay in El Nido took me to Submariner Diving Center and what a great luck! I can say, after 9 fun dives with Ronnel, that he is a real Divemaster, always attentive to you, helping you in everything and always, with a smile. In general, the whole team of instructors, Divemasters and future Divemasters are wonderful people. I say goodbye to El Nido saying that today, has been my best dive so far. Thanks to all the team, no doubt, see you soon 🤍.
Fantastic team ! Everyone is very professional, friendly and helpful ! Safety first… diving with any professional coach of this diving center will put you in good and safe hands. From the captain of the boat to the helpers on board to assist you getting into and out of the water with your equipment, to the diving coach, you are sure to have the best experience for diving with safety. I went to Discovery diving, first time in my life. My guide Yanis (Papa) was the best!! I was so nervous and he helped with evrything, step by step. He helped me stay calm and enjoy the experience, with no pressure at all! At the end we saw a massive turtle and it was so cool and fun. Also, they provide such a good lunch at the boat, they have tea and coffee. Everything there is super safe, and the environment on the boat is total fun. Highly recommended! Thanks a lot for the team!
