We've stayed in this hotel for 2night and booked in 3 rooms. One of the family got upgraded to ViP room and it was Great! But from great to nightmare because of the bed bugs my kids got alot of bite around there body. Looks good but looks can be deceiving. My wife ask for cleaning service the next day but didn't do a good job at all more bedbugs😢 not happy about this.

We stayed for 3 nights here. Located directly at the beach and in the Pops district gives it a young and chill vibe. You find a few nice bars, little shops and good restaurants around here. The welcome was friendly. After we checked in and got into our room, we noticed a moldy smell and it was highly humid and also there were mushrooms growing out the wall in the modern looking bathroom between shower and toilet.. I really ask myself If no one checked on it every now and then.. mushrooms and molds don't grow over night.. I don't think It's been a new "problem" though. That bathroom needs def. to get renovated to solve that problem. But I don't blame the staff for it. Of course they do their best :) The responsiblity relies on the Management/Owner of Eco Hotel. But I want to point out, the staff is friendly and helpful and offered us right away a new room. A lot of rooms were empty so we were lucky we could move to another room. It was located on the other more quiet side with the hammocks :) (would recommend this side, if you wan't more privacy and less noise from the passing people and bar. So we took room 103 :) we were quite happy with it. The breakfast was good, enough options to choose from. I liked the terrace :) I really liked the woody natural style of the room and the painted brick Walls :) The bed was good to sleep in. I wished for a little more storage space for our stuff/luggage and the sliding doors are a little heavy to close. Would I book this hotel again ? Probably not until they improve a little more, simply because it was quite expensive for what I've expected and what we got offered. (377€ for 3 nights incl. Breakfast though) I get it when you have a good Location like this, you can make guests pay quite a bit more, but if you want to compete with surrounding Locations, better add a little more luxery experience for your guests. We noticed a lot of rooms were empty and wondered why. I really like the concept of trying to be as Eco friendly as possible and serving organic Rice, avoiding plastic bottles and offering free drinking water to refill bottles, but It needs definately a little makeover and adjustment in my own Personal opinion :) A little Comparison to our other place we booked for the next 3 nights.. We booked this other place (Beachfront) for almost the same amound of Money (even slighty less) and it feels upper class and quite luxerious to us. The welcome was super friendly. They offered us warm towels & welcome drinks. They introduced us right away to all the services they can book or arrage for us If we want to and all with such a passionate and lovely vibe about their Location to make us even more comfortable to stay with them.

The staff is very helpful , good location with nice rooftop. The rooms are Small, the bathroom smells bad sometimes and in my case super expensive (116 euro) and they say they are eco but it is not 100% eco as they use plastic bags a trash bags....

The positive which in fact deserves 5 stars: The hotel itself. I am so happy we stayed here because our room was the best in house (Sunset Premiere Suite) and the hotel location is perfect, just by the beach and at the end of small alley way with few restaurants and bar although it's very quiet. So easy to get to El Nido from there and so much more peaceful. Also way better to watch the sunset in Corong Corong. The bathroom was great, the bed huge, even had a coffee machine and a small fridge. Fan and Air-con too + TV. Love the fact that there is a rooftop restaurant for breakfast and dinner too. Amazing view from the hotel balcony. The Negative which deserves 0 star: The Food! I actually don't understand how a place like this can serve such bad quality food. We had the breakfast included in our stay and from the 3rd day we decided to eat out because the food was just awful. One morning my partner had found a dozen of small curly hair in his pork sausage, almost looked like pubic hair!! There were happy enough to replace it thank god! Another morning I ordered the ham pancake, by the time I got to my chair I changed my mind and as I walked back towards the kitchen to change my order, I witness how the staff was preparing the ham pancake... Took a pancake already pre-made from a tub, took a slice of ham from a package, put the ham on the pancake and shove it all in the microwave... Seriously?! You guys are supposed to be a nice place! That's not OK! I would have rather paid less for my room and go get my own breakfast somewhere else. It's a real shame as there is so much potential. The staff deserves 2,5 stars; some are great, some aren't. Room service wasn't done by 5pm on some occasion, never topped up the toilet paper and ran out of towels on one occasion... A bit of organisation would go a long way...
