I've never stayed at a place like this. The staff knew my name and greeted me every time I left. Not once did I feel like anything was lacking. The private beach on an island was amazing. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was chilly (nice after sweating the entire day). I will definitely go here again!

This hotel was amazing! From the moment we arrived to our sweet farewell from the staff. Can’t say enough good things about this place. All staff greeted us by name every time we left and returned to the hotel. Laundry service was done for us. Food was delicious. Room always clean. Great location, walking distance to the town nearby. Exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend staying here when visiting El Nido! Thank you all for your wonderful service.
Fantastic stay. The people here are SO NICE and it always brightens up our day whenever we see or talk to them. The food here is AMAZING. During our four day stay they actually change up their breakfast here everyday and it’s SO delicious. The a la carte menu at their restaurant is really good too. They bring you filtered water whenever you want and their service is always prompt. They have daily shuttles to Papaya Beach which is a very nice perk since the beach is very private with good amenities. The only thing is that certain corners of the room could be a little cleaner, and I wish they had conditioner.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at The Funny Lion in El Nido, Palawan. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by the beautiful, warm-hearted, and friendly staff who made us feel incredibly welcome. This modern boutique hotel is in a fantastic location, just a few minutes’ walk from the beach, shops, and restaurants. The quality of the food in the hotel restaurant was exceptional. We found ourselves preferring to dine in rather than venture out, thanks to the delicious and beautifully prepared meals. I recommend booking their airport transport – arranging it through the hotel made our travel so much easier and stress-free. We truly loved our stay and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!
